ACCD and THE WAY INTERNATIONAL

My research indicates that 2 ACCD board members 1 (Kris Kile and Bo Reahard 2 3 4 ) were in leadership positions with The Way International.

The Way International is a controversial organization that has been labeled a cult by many cult-watchers. As believed by its founder, Paul Wierville, the Way teaches that there is no Holy Spirit as part of the Trinity and that the Bible is God and Jesus Christ was not God - certainly very unorthodox beliefs for a Christian organization. The organization was characterized by an authoritarian shepherding-style leadership and was rocked by various scandals in the 80s. Since then, it has splintered off a number of organizations.
